NAACP Freedom Fund & Scholarship Banquet (6:30PM - 6:30PM)

The Georgetown-Scott County Branch of the National Association for the Advancement of Colored People (NAACP) is currently planning their annual NAACP Freedom Fund & Scholarship Banquet. The event will be held on Saturday, May 21, 2011 at the Georgetown College Student Center on College Street, from 6:30-9:30 p.m. The keynote speaker for the banquet will be Dr Adam Banks, associate professor of Writing, Rhetoric, and Digital Media for the University of Kentucky. The theme for this year is "One Nation, One Dream". There will be dinner, entertainment, and a silent auction during the evening.
