The Georgetown City Council enacted Ordinance 09-001 effective July 1, 2009. The Ordinance states that it is unlawful for any person, business or industry to deliver to, collect from or transport from any business or industrial property certain types of waste, debris or recycling material without obtaining a franchise from the City. Included within the Ordinance are time periods for the required reporting and payment for the franchise.
